I walked all over Paris, it’s the best way to be immersed in all the sights of the city but when one of my friends came for a visit we decided to explore a different view of Paris. We took an hour and a half Seine river cruise.
Paris is a city of bridges and my favorite was Alexandre III. It’s named after the last Russian emperor and has giant candelabras, cherubs, nymphs, winged horses and sculptures of lions, lizards and sea monsters.
It’s easy to see why the stretch of the River Seine from Notre-Dame to the Eiffel Tower is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is living the life in Paris. I loved seeing this river home complete with a tiny car.
It was the perfect spring day and we saw the locals relaxing in the sun on the banks of the river.
Seeing the sunset over the Seine is a sight everyone needs to see.
