Carmel a Place of Inspiration

in Blog, Homes on 01/10/08

October is the beginning of the year for me.  Why this month?  Well to begin with January for me is too cold to plan a new year.  My brain is frozen and still recovering from the Holiday Marathon.  I love the month of October and I’m in one of the most beautiful places on earth.  Mr. B. always takes me to the enchanted town, Carmel-by-the-Sea.  It’s a little heaven on earth, especially if you love dogs.  The homes are small and cozy.  You hear the waves wash in all day and night.  It’s a town where there are no lights at night just moonlight, no sidewalks just streets covered by trees, no mail is delivered to your home and flowers bloom everywhere.  It’s the perfect place to begin again to make resolutions, new goals and remember what is important in life.  It’s the perfect time to begin a blog.

Oh, hi there!

I like to describe myself as a woman of leisure but in reality I’m Mr. B’s project manager. It’s not a bad gig and it does come with many benefits. I plan our trips, as we travel the world. I'm kept busy creating and designing our beautiful homes. The best perk is I usually chose the movie we see every Friday. I’m a part-time artist, with aspirations of becoming a full-time artist. Painting, photography and all types of crafting are my true loves. I like to say I’m an artist of many mediums and master of none.
My finest creations would be my five children. I’ve also allow them to parent my thirteen amazing grandchildren. My grandchildren are all brilliant, beautiful, spirited and take after me – their Mimi.
